Thanks, Gard. I think I used your Rome map. Nice having our own little mapmaker, on site! Your map shows even more street names than the one I usually use.

This interactive map also has high res zoom with detailed street names. It has a search function (above the zoom buttons).

Photobear, the best map for Paris buses I have found is:

I like it better than any of the bus-only books because it includes the metro, and is a good street map too. You can buy it a the newsstands in Paris. For each arrondissement, there are 3 maps (1 for metro line, 1 for bus line, 1 street map). All 3 maps also show the streets.

It is also good to familiarize yourself with various bus route maps on www.ratp.fr

Another vote for Streetwise. This is an excellent map for Paris. I wouldn't leave home without it!
