Mandatory vaccination

Does anyone have information about mandatory vaccination in Croatia? My friend has heard some vaccination (diffteria etc.) could be mandatory when entering this country.

Check the CDC site for current, up-to-date requirements.

If your friend is a US citizen, take a look at www.travel.state.gov/foreignentryreqs.html, which is run by the US State Dept and gives info on entry requirements for US citizens into virtually every country in the world

Also check out the website for the embassy of Croatia in the US at http://www.croatiaemb.org. (Click on Consular Services, then Visa Regulations and Travel) I took a quick look, and there do not seem to be any immunization requirements, including diphtheria (which I believe you are referring to. However she probably already has a diphtheria vaccination from childhood that is still good.)

Sandi, where on the CDC site does it give each country's immunization or other requirements for tourists or immigrants? I jsut looked, and could only find a reference to an outbreak of Diptheria in the former Soviet Union, and a recommendation that travellers have shots that are up to date; however I could not find any information on shots which are required for entry into Croatia or any other country.
