Manchester Airport - Concorde tour question

I will be flying into Manchester Airport, I would like to go on a tour of the Concorde the day I arrive, I arrive early in the morning. How far is the Concorde from the passenger terminal, is there a left luggage service at the airport? I'd like to visit the Concorde and then go to check in to my hotel.

Also, I would like comments from fodorites who have been on the tour, I have flown on the Concorde and I'm wondering what the tour is like.

Thanks in advance.

You pass concorde at the western end of the runway. However you do need to book these visits . I just googled "concorde Manchester Airport " and all the info is available there for you.

Couldn't visit the Concorde in 2008 when I started this thread. I am wondering if fodorites have been on the tour and how they found it. Is the tour worthwhile for those who have flown on Concorde?

The tour shows you inside Concorde and talks about speed etc as you'd expect. If you want a nostalgic trip back in time then try it. Hope you get there this time.
