Malvasia Hotel @Monemvassia
 

Can anyone tell me if there is another way to reach The Malvasia Hotel on Monemvassia other than Tele/Fax. I cannot find an e-mail or even a hotel specific web site for them. I want to make reservations for two nights coming up this Spring. Thank you.

Thanks for the website.... I have seen that site and they only take reservations for 3 or more nights....we plan to be there for only 2 nights.Other ideas?

Send them Fax. It worked for us

Hi,<BR><BR>We stayed there in July two years ago. We did not have reservations, but they had room. We stayed for two nights. It is a wonderful place. Everyone we delt with spoke English beautifully, therefore do not be afraid to call them. I have two brouchers from the hotel and there is no web site mentioned, only the tel and fax.

About two months before our trip in April this year we tried to make reservation there for two nights. They were able to accommodate us only for one night as they were fully booked for the other night months earlier we been told. So I would send them Fax as soon as possible<BR>Remember that before and after both Easter holidays many popular hotels in Greece are going to be fully booked so if you are thinking about going there the second half of April be prepered.

When I was booking rooms for my recent trip to Greece I found that it took forever for people to respond to my inquiries. (Some took weeks!) I would recommend you be persistant and patient, and definitely check out other hotel possibilites. My attempts to make reservations via phone were not succesful at all. Everyone wanted the request via fax. There are also not a lot of rooms available within the castle walls. It's possible they are not responding because they are already booked. I have the Malvasia Hotel brochure so see if you have the same numbers as I do: telephone - (0732)61323 or (0732)61160 fax - (0732)61722 I would also check out the Byzantino Hotel, which is where I stayed: telephone - (0732)61254 or (0732)61351 fax (0732)61331 <BR>Both hotels are within the castle walls. Some other possibilities are Xenonas Kellia, which I think is inside the castle walls, the Ardamis, which I don't know the exact location of, and the Lazareto which is outside of the castle walls but still on the island. <BR>Good luck, have a wonderful vacation!
