Malta Currency

What is the currency used on Malta? Are they still using the lira, or have they converted over to the euro?? I need to know for an upcoming trip I am planning for my mother.

I looked at my favorite page for exchange rates, and it appears they still use the lire. Here's a link for today's exchange.

Gee, thanks, darling. It is so nice to see that mkingdom is on the ball.

Accost any tourists in Hamburg for wearing last season's Dolce e Gabbana??

:)
Cheers,
