Malpensa to Milan

Hi there everyone.

Could anyone tell me how to get to Milan from Malpensa by train? Do you know the approximate cost and how long it takes, please?

Thanks.

Ross.

The train takes 40 minutes (there is a bus that takes 50 minutes).
Trains run to the Milan Cadorna (not Centrale)station. First bus leaves at 6:00 AM; first train at 6:45 and every 30 minutes thereafter until 9:45 PM.
Don't know the current cost unfotunately but am sure someone else will have that info.

We took this train in 1999. I also can't tell you the current cost, but in 1999 it was within one euro of the bus cost. I thought it was a better "deal" than the bus; somehow it felt more reliable, more efficient, and it was certainly more comfortable.

Just three weeks ago the train FROM Cadorna to Malpensa was 9 Euro. So I assume it would be the same going in.

Hi

Do you have to take the train? :-) I went there last month and took the Malpensa Shuttle bus. It cost €4.5 and took about 50 minutes to reach the Stazione Centrale (the main railway station in Milan). I have posted a trip report with picture from my trip to Milan/Venice in June on my homepage www.gardkarlsen.com :-)
