Malpensa to florence,options????

I am arriving at Malpensa on a Sunday am and wish to go to florence.....I am planning on the train, but are there other options. I will be somewhat jet lagged,,,,,,,,Also should I make a eurostar reservation? Thanks
this trip is an unexpected treasure for me!!!!

Hello Spirit, The train will be your best option, but you have to get to centrale station first--you can bus from Malpensa in about:50. Look at this site for schedules--the Eurostar trains may not best fit your schedule.
www.trenitalia.com The ride is about 3 hours to Florence. Good luck !

Why not fly? There is a connection to the train station in Milan from Malpensa. Runs every hour or so and the you can take a train to Florence.Just responding to see if I have any touble with posting as others are experiencing.

If the schedule is convenient, flying is the best way. At less than an hour, it certainly is the easiest and fastest way to get there. Alitalia flies between Malpensa and Florence. And, once in Florence, it's a very short cab ride into the city.
