malone thrifty car rental- ireland

in searching the web for a car rental, this group had the lowest rates- We are 4 adults with bags and golf clubs and want an automatic SUV. their rate was about 150euro less than the others, but they seem to have a lot of "add-ons" Has anyone heard of them or rented from them?

I've never rented through them, I've found Trish Lyndon at Dan Dooley's US office to be very knowledgeable and had the best rates when we were looking. If you go through Pat Preston's web-site, you get an automatic 10% off, plus she arranged for a great upgrade for us. If you don't have any more luck on this site, try the forums at "Ireland Yes" and Pat Preston's "Ireland Expert." People on those sites may have some further info for you. Good luck..

Oh, and don't forget to get a Mastercard that will allow for you to waive CDW fees. That really helps. We went to our local Edward Jones office and got one there.
