Malmasion, is this of interest?

I'm just reading a bit about Malmasion and Josephine. Has anyone made the visit to this house and museum recently. It's not talked about much in my Paris guides. The subject is of some interest for one of my kids so we thought we might take the trip there. It looks easy enough. Anyone's thoughts about the place?
thanks

Not been there but it's ten miles from Paris by RER by a guide book I have and says that the restaurant there is first class and the description of this sumptuously furnished house sounds like it actually was the house used in the recent French Film Napoleon that aired on A&E last month.

Yes. It is interesting and worth a trip to see as are many other places in the area surrounding Paris.

Yes, definitely go, particularly if one of your group is already interested. I believe we spent about an hour there, or perhaps a bit more, and saw everything we wanted to see. It's quite lovely.

I've been 2-3 times (we used to live nearby). I am always surprised it is not mentioned more often because I would recommend it wholeheartedly. You get a real feel for how the house must have been during Napoleon's time.

Thank you all for your positive response to making a visit to Malmaison. My daughter seems very interested, so this is a good thing. We may have a guide help us to get out there. I'm not at all confident in my directional skills. It does seem difficult to find any good information about the home.
I'm looking forward to making the visit. Thank you all again.
