Mallorca or San Sebastion

Only have enough time to go to the island or north to San Sebastion and area. We have about 4 days for either, any recommendations?
Hi, Marty.
Totally different destinations, although San Sebastian has a beautiful beach. Could you be more explicit about when do you want to go, what are your expectations (lying on the beach, sun, good food, a bit of rain,...)?
Regards

Hi Marty, I'm going on a med. cruise on the 10th Sept for one week and then spending a week in Mallorca. Check out my message and replies under Mallorca Sightseeing Tips. Lots of great suggestions of places to see. Have fun. Caroline

We are not big beach people, but we do love beatiful coastlines. We like breathtaking scenery, fine dining, exploring interesting towns. We are also enjoy old ruins and buildings. We would be in either destination in early October. We have been to Italy a few times and some of our favorite spots were the smaller, prettier character rich cities and towns, Cinque Terre, Ravello, Amalfi Coast, Capri, Venice.

Hope this helps clarify..

Thanks
Marty

Any Suggestions?

We visited SanSebastian each summer for 3 years. Loved it. But maybe 4 days is too long. We spent 3. Unless you love the beach and the casino, you could get tired of it. However it is fun to go tapa hopping in the old town. Also you are near to Bilbao, the Pyrennes, Biarritz.
