Madrid to Seville train selling out?

We will arrive Madrid airport at 7:45 am (in theory), on October 7th. Looking to go to Seville immediately. Two trains are marked as "tren completo", or sold out as I interpret. These are marked ALVIA and LD-AVE. Is there something about these trains that explains why they're sold out? This makes me worry that we should be buying tickets ahead of time. We can buy from Captain Train website; they say 95% refundable up to 5 minutes before departure. I suppose we could book noon tickets and refund for earlier tickets if seats are available? What would you do?

I would use raileurope.com and probably book 11am tickets if you have to wait for luggage. There are plenty of trains from MAD-Sevilla listed that morning. You pay a premium, but raileurope offers flexible fares, has excellent customer service and in general is a less quirky site. The last time we were in Spain, I effortlessly changed the time of my Madrid - Sevilla tickets using my phone. We did encounter sold out trains in September, but only for the return.
