Madrid to Rome

I will be traveling to Madrid in late May and was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to the cheapest and/or easiest way to get to Rome from Madrid.

The website www.whichbudget.com shows that Meridiana flies nonstop from Madrid to Florence. From Florence, the train ride is only 95 minutes.

Best wishes,

Rex

Hi S,

Also see www.europebyair.com.

$99 to Turin.

Air Europa should be your best bet - they fly the MAD-FCO route twice daily and their lowest one way fare for late May seems to be EUR 160 all in.

www.aireuropa.com

Their site is currently being reworked and seems to be only available in spanish right now unfortunately - here's the US toll free nr they list:
1.800.238.7672

Hope this helps,
Andre
