Madrid to Granada
I am off to Spain in early May for a 12 day solo jaunt and intend to spend the first four nights in Madrid and then head off to Granada for two nights and end it in Seville. What is the best way to travel from Madrid to Granada? Train or bus? If it is bus can anybody direct me to a website with bus companies and schedules?
Thanks!

Boby,
Can't tell you which is best because I've always gone by car, but...
You can get the bus schedule here:
www.continental-auto.es
(in Spanish only).
On home page, click on "horario y venta de billetes", then "ver origines" at bottom right, then in the "seleccione origen" box, select Madrid, then in next "seleccione destino" box, select Granada, and the schedule should pop up, giving you all departures/arrivals, km, price, days of week and seasons the bus runs.
For the Madrid-Granada train schedule see www.renfe.es (version in English)
Hope this helps.
Maribel
Buffet car trains leave Madrid Atocha station at 0810 and 1702, and reach Granada at 1405 and 2249.

Ben Haines

Hey Ben,
This is Spain not London.

I thought this forum was a union shop.

I'm sure you're infringing on someone's territory.

Just kidding. Thanks for your London notes.
