Madrid Restaurants — calling one and all!
Hello all -
firstly, I thanks each and all - I’ve been successfully lurking over the last month to plan my short-notice Madrid trip. I have reservations at the following - would love to know if I’m missing anything special or should avoid any of the one’s I’ve chosen…I’m also looking for some lunch recommendations as well.
thank you all, |

thank you all, The only one I've been to on your list is SACHA and it is excellent. If you arrive by taxi, be aware that the entrance is a little hidden away from where the txi will probably drop you. I had to call them since I could not find the front door after leaving my taxi!! Are any of those in the Retiro area, east of the Park? If not, you might take a look at LA CASTELA, TABERNA LAREDO or LA CATAPA. I don't know fi any are open for lunch, probably not. But for lunch, maybe LAKASA. Or, RAFA if you want shellfish/fish for lunch. Sure you will have some memorable meals!! Madrid is just a treasure trove of the highest order when it comes to food. I see CHARRUA is a steak place; there is also LOS 33 that I've become curious about but I think it's hard to book. Please come back and report on all of your gastronomic adventures!! |
