Try the 4 star Hotel Auditorium. It's immense, and except during major international trade fairs, it rarely fills up. Web fares include breakfast.

i use the auditorium when the rates are good, but i admit you cannot go for a walk around there. but the hotel restaurant was decent.
maybe one of the melia´s has space for you. ask about the frequency of the shuttles.
the sofitel is quite pleasant, with its sister novotel next door.
careful on location as there are other sofitels and novotels. . these are the ones at the parque juan carlos area.
