No, eks, I still haven't gone. I'll keep you posted the minute I get there!

Lakasa is great and always comes through for us. Highly consistent.

I'm looking forward to Lakasa! I've also booked Arzabal and Taberna la Catapa, and planning to book Hevia. Should I substitute Sacha for any of these?

Also, we plan to see the Reina Sofia and/or the Thyssen museums, Museo Sorolla, the Royal Palace and Galleries, and Retiro park during our 3 1/2 days. I'd love recommendations for lunch - nothing fancy - in these areas.

Finally, we love strolling streets looking at architecture, window shopping (or otherwise), stopping for a coffee or drink on a terrace, or on our way to a particular sight or dinner. Are there especially lovely streets or routes you'd recommend?

Thanks so much!

Eks: I'm a hungry onion lurker and have been following your and Maribel's posts on Madrid. Great reading!
