MADRID and ZARAGOZA

Any suggestions on travel between these two cities ?? Rail Europe is quoting $83.00 USD for a 1 way in 2nd class. Seems like a lot for a 1 1/2 hour trip.

Cheaper tickets elsewhere or is bus a good option ??

Go to renfe.com to check for train ticket prices. Renfe is the Spanish railway website. Go to Maribel's guides for the step-by-step instruction on how to buy renfe tickets on line.

Thanks yk for the mention of my "how to buy Renfe tickets" instructions.

nygvic,
I just checked the fares for a date 60 days out (tix can be booked 62 days out), and I see a one way WEB fare, tourist class, for only 20.30 euros.

Thanks to both responses. I will try renfre and see what i can find.

The journey between Madrid and Zaragoza takes only an hour and a half because they're AVE high-speed trains. It's 307 km (191 miles) and takes about four hours by bus.
