Madrid Airport Hotel

We arrive in Madrid at 10:35p.m. and fly out the next morning at 8:00 a.m. We are looking for a mid-range hotel, preferably with a shuttle within 2 miles of the airport. We have looked at several suggestions here, but are looking for a more recent experience. Any ideas?

>>mid-range hotel<< means next to nothing. What is your actual budget?

In May 2102 I stayed at the Axor Barajas. Ultra modern decor, remember having a very good meal at the hotel restaurant.

According to my Booking.com history, I paid Euro65.00.

I would also suggest you look on Booking.

I like the PUllman and Clemente Barajas.. have also stayed at the Axor Feria. All have shuttles. More to do, eating wise, within two blocks of the Pullman( el corte inglés shopping included), small bars near the Clemente, and then the axor feria will be your cheapest option. I have stayed at all three plus other hotels and can recommend them all. Prices vary considerably on different websites for them. Check trivago.com or kayak.com to see if someone offers a good deal. Pullman had a deal on Destinia for 70E including breakfast recently.

Check shuttle frequency times for all.

I have paid as little as 45E for the Axor Feria.

Tach hotel in Barajas is the best of the many I've tried near the airport. Has shuttle, modern, and walking distance of a lot of bars & restaurants. Also metro five mins walk.
