Madrid, 5 nights which neighborhood

Jump to last reply

Hello, my husband and I will be traveling to Madrid for 5 nights with our 1 year old. We are looking to rent an apartment but overwhelmed which area to choose. We are gravitating towards Salamanca. Is this area to removed from major sights? When we travel we usually like staying in an area that's centrally located, within walking distance to major sights, easy access to public transportation, good proximity to cafes, grocery store, shopping, pedestrian only areas are a plus, not too loud or touristy etc. Thank you.
