m,ostly seafood in tapas restaurants?

Will be in Barcelona, and would love to experience tapas, but is there any point if seafood/fish is something I don't eat? Would there be enough other things to choose from? Thanks

OK - I am a bit confused. Why do you think tapas are only seafood? There are MANY varieties of tapas. Don't worry

Sure there is a point. Tapas are not only seafood.

As the other posters said, tapas are many items other than fish.

But, why not give a tapa about some fish. Spain has some of the best fish served, so if you ever give it a chance, this is a good place to try.

Lots of other tapas though.

And the best sausage!

In February in Barcelona we had jamon iberico (ham), manchego cheese, sauteed wild mushrooms with garlic, olives, asparagus, sliced fried artichokes, small pieces of filet mignon... OK, I'm ready for dinner now.

We have had a lot of tapas over the years but don't remember many being fish related. Tapas are more of a "style of serving" -- small portion --- rather than a particular type of food. But are you trying to avoid seafood for medical reasons and concerned about cross contamination or are you just a picky eater?

Thanks to all.
I am just a picky eater...and any review I read of Tapas style restaurants seems to picture fish/seafood,and talk about those sea related foods.
I KNOW there is not ONLY seafood, my title asked if it was MOSTLY seafood, and would there be enough other foods for me to choose from.
I will certainly try some fish, but know the majority of my meal would not be fish; thanks Nikki for listing some of the other yummy things available where you dined.
