Luxury romantic hotel to stay in Sardinia?
My fiance and i are planning a honeymoon to Sardinia at the end of June. We are looking for a hotel that has a luxury feel and has a beach front access or walking steps from the beach. Any recommendations are much appreciated ! thanks

This is a fairly fundamental question for Sardinia.
What's budget?
Also what areas/ holidays do you usually take?
Some of the hotels in Sardinia charge incredible amounts for standards and services which are no where near as high as destinations such as Mauritius or the Far East.

A great 5* hotel is Hotel Pitrizza which is right on the beach.

A 4* hotel - cheaper but still luxurious - is Hotel Le Ginestre with the beach a 300 yard walk from the hotel.

If you are looking for a cheap Costa Smeralda Hotel with private sandy beach, you may check Hotel Capriccioli, althoug neither the rooms nor the food are luxury.
About 330 USD/day for a double with half board

It's five years ago but I thought the food at Hotel Capriccioli was fine/good, the rooms are OK but not good value for money. The beach is public but stunning, just gorgeous. As are all the beaches on Cala di Volpe, our favourite is the one on the right as you drive past the pizza place.
Forte Village has high standards.

The food was great but it has always had very, very mixed reviews. The service isn't good, the design and building location is amazing. I think the rooms aren't good.
It's impossible to suggest hotels without a time and budget.
