Luxury apartments in UK?

w/o a budget I don't think anyone can help you much --- BUT >>Great- so far we've covered Manchester, Bristol, London, Edinburgh.
Any other ideas?<<
Ideas for what/where - Manchester, Bristol, London, and Edinburgh are the only places you've asked about.

Budget of around 150 per night. Also interested in other cities like Bath, Livepool, Birmingham, and maybe the Lake District.
So what do people think of these places?
MANCHESTER http://www.theplaceaparthotel.com/se...els-manchester
BRISTOL http://www.berkeleysuites.co.uk/suites/the-crescent
LONDON http://www.athenaeumhotel.com/apartments/

Your budget isn't luxury standard in Manchester at any rate. The Place is OK, nothing more, but it's very close to Piccadilly Station and the centre of the City. The better hotels in the City that are higher standard will be at least £50 over your budget per night, unless you can get an offer. Try:

Sorry - but your budget is definitely in the modest category - not the luxury or upscale one. I think what you will get for that is cheap and cheerful in a decent location.
If you can get that you will be doing well.

Is that 150 USD or 150 GBP? Either way it's not anywhere close to luxury, but will go a bit further if it's GBP.
If it's USD, it's a bit less than an en-suite double at the B&B I usually stay at in London. Central - it's walking distance to the British Museum - but quite basic. http://www.ridgemounthotel.co.uk/prices
The money should go a bit further out of London.

"The Atheneum that you mention will be about 150 pounds per person per night."
Huh? First, the OP did not say the budget was per person, I had the impression that it was per room. Nor is it clear that is GBP.
Second, checking the Atheneum website for random dates in October shows that short stay apartments START at 433 GBP per night, prepaid, which is over 200 GBP/person (314 USD).

Could this may be a troll . . . 150 anything ($/£/€) would not be close to 'luxury' anywhere in the UK but definitely not in London, Bath, Edinburgh, Manchester. In fact twice that would not get you luxury.
Have you even looked at the sites you yourself linked? The Atheneum Is very far above your stated budget. The cheapest room is nearly £300 if you pay fully up front non-refundable and the nicer rooms start over £500
The Berkeley Suites in Bristol does have the odd night that squeezes in under £150 but most nights are well over £200
The aparthotel in Manchester does fit in your budget but look at the photos -- it is just a run-of-the-mill flat and in no way 'luxury'.
It seems you are just throwing odd sites against the wall to see if anything sticks.

How much time of you have? You initially listed 4 cities, I'd guess two weeks... I wouldn't add more destinations unless you have more time. This is a honeymoon, you don't want to rush and you don't want to spend half of your time on trains.

All relevant issues guys!
Firstly, I meant GBP. I'm off for 20 days so hopefully can fit in one more city- just want to make it the right one.
What kind of standard can I get for £150? I think maybe if I stay for longer I can get a discount? The one in Bristol looks pretty nice and is just £131.00 per night! I'm also checking out AirBnB which has been useful.
Thanks for the comments on the Manchester one- perhaps I'd be better off elsewhere!!!
Thanks,
Kate

Dear Juan or Kate,
From your other posts on Fodors it seems this is not your visit to the UK. Therefore either you must be well aware that your budget is not going to get you luxury, or your posts were fake.
I figure you are in fact a troll.
Bye.

Definitely on the troll-ish side. But just in case . . .
>>The one in Bristol looks pretty nice and is just £131.00 per night! <<
When I checked that site (and I did before my last post) I also found individual nights for £131, but they were very date specific and while one night was £131, the next was over £200 and on average it came to about £190 a night. on various random dates in October.
