lunch suggestions near Gare du Nord or Gare St Lazare
Any place for a quick lunch near these stations before boarding train to Bayeux which is a little over a 2 hour ride?

All I can remember about Gare St Lazare is a chain cafe directly across the street. I can't remember the name. We just had coffee, but the people at the next table had different dishes and tarts and they looked fine.

The stations themselves have cafés and places where you can pick up a nice sandwich or salad for the ride. I always do this before boarding a train in France, though I seldom leave from those stations.

Had no idea as to where we would get a bite before boarding the train. Thanks for the responses.

Topping-
Bcity, don't know if you've already left, but I checked my travel notes, it was Cafe Brioche, right outside the rear entrance to the station. Like StCirq, I do not usually leave the station, but this was close & easy. |
There are a whole line of cafes across the street from the Gare du Nord--our favorite place to eat mussels. There are lunch counters inside the Gare also.
