luggage storage in glasgow scotland

Any ideas on where we can store two sets of golf clubs for 3 weeks while we travel to Eastern Europe? The train station charges 6 Euros per day/bag which is just too much! Any private storage spots known in town?
Thanks.

If you are staying at a hotel in Glasgow, ask them if you can check your clubs and pick them up at a later date. I have done this in London with clubs and bags. Worth a good gratuity to the concierge and bellmen.

There's a place called the Barras just off Candleriggs that'll take them for you

For the avoidance of doub that was a joke:)

Yes, in the Barras you find someone to take great care of your clubs :)

_jinx_ has probably givie you the best advice -- but storing two sets of golf clubs for 3 weeks is a pretty tall order. Good luck.

Just another option -- how many rounds are you playing in Scotland? If just a few, you might consider renting clubs when you need them rather than trying to store clubs for 3 weeks. If you are scratch golfers and playing every day you probably don't want to rent. Otherwise, I'd consider it.
