Is it possible to store a bag for a week somewhere near and or at the Rome (FCO) airport? We are going to stop in a few cities by train in Italy prior to a med cruise and didnt want to drag our big suitcase full of cruise formal cloths around with us.

The is a baggage check at Roma Termini, the main train station in Rome.

If your cruise leaves from Civitavecchia, storing the luggage at Termini makes perfect and very easy sense, too.

Looking at the website I see the following:
4,00 € the first 5 hours
0,60 € /hour from 6th to 12th hour
0,20 € /hour from 13th hour on

Does anyone know if I can leave my bag with them for a week? Does anyone know if they have a long term rate, like so much a day, week, etc?

The airport has luggage storage if that would work better for you. 6€ for 24 hours.
