Luggage lockers in Amsterdam
We are flying to Sweden to see our daughter and her family but first will travel to Holland for business. We intend to take the train south for one or two days and then return to Amsterdam for a couple of fun days. Is there a safe luggage check-in room at the airport or even the train station. No sense hauling our "Sweden clothes" all over with us.

I have been travelling to amsterdam a couple of times. I once used a locker at central station but the instructions were not entirely clear. Another downside is that once you close the locker, you cannot open it and continue using it without having to pay again (e.g., I left my phone in the locker, took it out and needed to pay again).
Last time I used a locker of Lockerpoint (www.lockerpoint.com), only a 4 minute walk from central station, clear instructions and the possibility to open the locker without having to pay again.
Enjoy!

airport also has luggage lockers.
why not contact your hotel you will be staying in upon return to Amsterdam if you can leave bags there?
If taking trains south upon landing trains serve Schiphol too so no sense going into Amsterdam - leave bags at airport left-luggage or lockers.
