Luggage in Rome Termini?

Hello all,
We will be stopping in rome for the day then we will take a overnight train to zurich, but we will have all our luggage in rome. So does Termini have a place that we can all store our luggage?
Thank you!!

Yes, Roma Termini has a Deposito Bagagli (Left Luggage) Room. Here's a link to the details:

There is a left luggage (Deposito Bagagli) storage area in Termini (no self-service lockers though) which is open from 6h00 to midnight. You submit your luggage, it is x-rayed and a copy of your passport is taken. Cost is around Euro5 for the first 4 (or 5, can't recall exactly) hours per piece, then a nominal fee per hour after that.

There aren't any overnight trains to Switzerland anymore. Perhaps you meant you are taking a night train to Milan?

Thank you all!
So we just give them our luggage and they take it? And we pay when we want to pick it up?

Yes overnight to Milan connecting to Zurich.
Thanks!

Something that you may need to know....there is often a limit on the weight of your luggage at the left baggage locations. We just stored our luggage at Milan for 4 hours between train rides so we could go explore a little. There was a weight limit at the Milan station which may also apply for Rome Termini. You could only leave baggage that is 20 kg or less.
We packed very lightly for 10 days of travel and had one medium size suitcase and one carry on for 4 people. Our medium suitcase was 24 kg and we had to open and repack between the two suitcases so we could leave them. Once we got it fixed and stored....wonderful service!!

Give them the luggage. They photocopy your passport, xray your luggage, and give you a receipt/check slip. When you return to get the bag, present your receipt/slip and pay the amount you owe. Allow plenty of time to retrieve your bag as there can be a long line of others doing the same.
