Luggage Forward or Luuggage Free
Has anyone on this forum used Luggage Forward/Luggage Free to forward their luggage on to their destination?
We are visiting Italy in April/May and I have this feeling I will be purchasing books, art etc. and will not want to be lugging them around, so I want to ask what methods have you used to ship purchases home from Italy. Thanks in advance. |
Celticmoon, I am also interested in this service. Thanks for asking

There was an article on cnn.com on this
http://www.cnn.com/2008/TRAVEL/busin....ap/index.html I never used any of them, but hope this helps. |
Hi C,
>what methods have you used to ship purchases home from Italy. You charge the goods to your CC. You have the shop ship them to your home address. You return home. A couple of weeks later, your souvenirs arrive. You are happy. OR A: Your souvenirs arrive broken or B: They don;t arrive at all. You call your CC company and file a disputed charge. If you use a 3rd party shipping agent, you are going to be charged for the goods. Your only recourse will be to fight with the shipper. ((I)) |
Check Italian Postal Rates. My sister told me that she can ship 20 pounds to Europe from the USA for $39. Post offices have mailing cartons for sale. Pack printed mailing labels and a roll of clear tape.
