Thanks to the usa winning their match this morning, lufthansa has $80 voucher for flights from the usa. Just go to their usa website for details.

Anyone interested in going from Dulles to Athens in mid-September leaving the 13th they have $902 fares (includes all taxes, etc.) with connection through Munich. With the $80 off that's seems like a good price. It's actually cheaper to fly to Athens than it is to Munich.

Bummer - we already have our tickets with Lufthansa for September.

Just tried the $80 voucher and the web site must be very busy - couldn't get the voucher now.

You have to make the reservation by August and travel by the end of the year.

It took me a few tries. The voucher is simply a 12 digit code that is used at the time of booking and as you noted it's not good on existing reservations.
