Lucerne Hotel
 

I have other threads going, but changed to this topic.
Looking for advice for hotel in Lucerne for two nights. This is for honeymoon for my daughter and her husband. A recommendation on another post for Hotel des Balances in Lucerne looked so nice, but it is booked for one of their nights.

Any other recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Have you contacted the hotel directly, if you looked on bookings.com for instance and is says they have no more rooms available, that doesn't mean the hotel itself has no more left?

The Grand Hotel National is the best hotel in Luzern.

We have stayed there and cannot recommend it highly enough. At des Balances we had dinner, which was nice, but National is a different class. But it is for honeymoon, isn't it?

We were happy with Hotel des Alpes. Our room had a wonderful balcony overlooking the river.
