Lucerne - Burgenstock Resort help !
 

I have searched high and low but can't seem tofind any commments on this hotel near Lake Lucerne called the Burgenstock Park Hotel--think it's one of the "leading" but Please let me know about this as we are considering it but it seems VERY PRICEY !<BR>Many Thanks

It's not in Lucerne, but across the lake from it. You can either drive (I believe) or take a ferry from Lucerne and then a funicular up to it. The area around it is gorgeous!

I remember we have stayed at this hotel about 7 years ago. It is outside Lucerne on a mountain which it can be reached either through a boat,a short cut or by Taxi if with luggage. It is a high class hotel and very comfortable for relaxation. I might have their web address at home if you are interested.

Hello, I live just under the Buergenstock and it is quite popular with locals for Sunday strolling, especially up to the Hammetschwand and along the amazing Felsenweg. In addition to the ferry/funicular you can also get to Buergenstock by taking the train to Stanstad and a taxi or the Postbus from there. I also believe the hotels (there are several all part of the same resort) also run their own shuttle.
