that person said their kids were in the Guido room and they (the parents) would not have been happy if that was their room.
To me, it looks great. If it's just the shower, well, what the heck. We can live with that. |
Sorry I misunderstood you. My friend stayed in the Guido room and she loved it. I honestly can't remember if I went into that bathroom. I stayed in the Cornelia room, and the bathroom was quite large. Both the Guido and Cornelia rooms are directly off the huge living room, while the only remaining room, the Cesare, is directly off the kitchen. I'm hesitant to recommend the Cesare to people without knowing if they are early risers, because I imagine there would be some noise in the mornings because of breakfast.

PS: I loved staying in the Cornelia room, and highly recommend it, but it is usually booked and I think a bit more expensive.

thank you zeppole! Well, i should start saying: grazie. My husband's been studying Italian on the Pimsleur, and I should get with it myself!

My pleasure. Have a great time in Bologna!

Just reporting back to say we loved Bologna! Wonderful city. Casa Zucchini was terrific, and such a treat to live in a restored palazzo! Guido room was fine; the shower was very tight, but the room was perfectly fine for the two of us. It's long and narrow, but has plenty of room.

oh, also: zeppole, your comments on another thread about things to see were very helpful! The Bramante stairs were really cool (but you need to walk on them to fully realize why).
