Lovely Village in Norfolk or Suffolk

We are planning our next trip to England and would like to stay in a lovely village somewhere in Norfolk or Suffolk - really only place in England we've never explored. Any suggestions? Thanks.

We stayed in a farmhouse B+B near Wymondham, a nice market-town. We chose that location because it was central geographically and offered easy access to the A-11 highway. From there we day-tripped to the north and east coasts, to Norwich and to Ipswich and, of course, to Cambridge.

An embarrassment of riches. Our favorite village is Kersey, near Lavenham, also Long Melford, Hadleigh and Debenham.

But check out http://www.suffolkcam.co.uk and see what you like. Coast, vales, villages, broads.. so much, so little time.

Thanks Tuck and Gardyloo. Have spent most of day looking for self-catering accommodations in those areas. Plenty to pick from and I was surprised that many seem much cheaper than ones we have rented in other parts of England. Any pub/restaurant suggestions or sites to see would also be welcome. We are middle-aged, husband and wife, will be driving. Don't like things too touristy.

Don't know about self catering but we liked staying in Swaffham and also visiting Holt. Both are in Norfolk...in Suffolk we stay with friends in Earl Soham...a lovely little village but I don't know about accomadations.
