I have to agree! I have learned great info here. The best example I can think of is the advice to take an ATM card and use it to get money in Europe. Much better than carrying USD to exchange and/or travelers checks. So I thank all you seasoned Fodorites who make it charming for all of us.

I greatly enjoy this board, too. I stumbled across it a couple years ago by happenstance and have been hooked ever since. I appreciate the different viewpoints of the many knowledgeable people on this board and have learned so much from them. (And I spend way too much time here while at work!)

Swiss threads, fashion threads, food threads, camera threads, cell phone threads, not to mention church threads, fresco threads, garden threads, rail travel threads. Love them all. I'm a big fan too. Not only do I get some great tips but it gives me a chance the think about a favorite subject. My real life friends can only take so much chatter about travel. I can't blame them, only a few of them ever go anywhere.
