Louvre entrances
 

Does anyone know if the museum pass works at the Porte sea Lions entrance at the Louvre? I've searched online, but I haven't found a definitive answer

The museum pass will be accepted at any entrance.

Curious: why wouldn't it be?

It isn't that weird, lots of museums have a specific entrance for people with passes like that. In fact, the Louvre's own website says so

I have never had one, so could not guess if what the Louvre says on its own website is false or not.

Interesting, Christina. We have entered with the museum passes at entrances other than the Pyramid without difficulty.

We used our passes at the carousel entrance with no issues.

I think the lions entrance has been closed for some time now.
