Louve crowdy on Sunday?

Hi,

We will be first-time travellers in Paris and don't plan to explore Louve in every detail. I'm tempted to buy Louve tickets at reduced price which only allow access after 3pm and on Sunday. Are there usually too many people in the museum on Sunday at the end of June? I'm also thinking of Monday and Wednesday when it has late opening--Can we dine in the museum, at least on fast food?

Thanks a lot if you can help!!

I'm sorry, but your posting conjurs up only these thoughts:
1. If you're going to the museum, at least learn how to spell it: LOUVRE.
2. You're going all the way to Paris and are looking for a place that sells fast food?

I know, I know, I misspelled "conjures" in my previous posting! That kind of takes the wind out of my sails, huh?

firstly I apologize for my misspelling...
secondly, it's APPARENT that I'm NOT LOOKING for fast food. But if that's the only possibility to eat in the museum, I like to sacrifice ONE meal to save some time in order to stay longer time in Louvre.

The main crowds we saw at the Louvre were around Venus de Milo and Mona Lisa.
Most of the crowd looked to be Oriental, so being taller than most we could see over them. But getting close to either work was impossible. The Winged Victory is visible from several vantage points, so the crowd did not seem as large.
There is food available in a cafe style arrangement. The tables are crowded but service is by a waiter or waitress. It is a level or two better than a burger doodle. I would rate the food as "OK", but not nearly as good as the dining room at Musee d'Orsay. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch there -- great food at reasonable prices. And the ceiling of the dining area is a work of art in itself. One of the few places where I can remember where I kept staring at the ceiling.
