Lots of London ???????????

I am planning a trip to London, March 7-19.
I am booked at the Burn Hotel, I want to take the tube directly to my hotel.
Looks direct, is it a pain??
Will be in London 3 days, should I get a hop on hop off bus tour?
I want this to be a frugal trip any suggestions what I can do.

Checked the differences in price either fly to Paris or eurostar.
It is going to be worth the extra to take eurostar. 140.00 round trip sound right?
I will spend 3 days in Paris, at the Danube.
Well I know Paris, need advice on London.
Thank you Lar

I am going to be in London in November and have been checking out prices on the eurostar to Paris. it is my understanding that 140.00 is ONE WAY? I could be wrong and would really be interested in going if it were $140 round trip...that sounds more reasonable. Does anyone have a solid answer for this???

One-way fares on the Eurostar are often HIGHER than return tickets.

A 65 day advance purchase is 60GBR one way but you have to purchase round trip or 120GBP , so throw out the section you don't use..it will still be cheaper that the 139 GBP one way

Or if it's too late to get the 65 day .eurostar-oneway has a 20GBP off taxi special..for 1 person, 2 people get 25 GBP off the total

Larry, I'm not sure where the Burn Hotel is but I took the tube to London from Heathrow and it worked out well. I only had one small piece of luggage on wheels and a small backpack to carry.

Take Eurostar to Paris, not Brit Rail as we did. It took us 11 1/2 tiring hours, due to missed poor connections and many buses. The money we saved wasn't worth it!!!

I went on raileurope.com They have a 60.00 us dollar rate. You have to book round trip. 4 months in advance also.

Thank you Vita for your reply. Lar

Larry It's 65 days in advance not 4 months

Thank you I stand corrected!! 65 days, I talked to the rep of RailEurope and you cannot book on their website any further out then 4 months. So I guess that is true? Lar
