Lost speeding fine notice

Hi guys, my dad was traveling in Florence and received a speeding fine. I was asked to mail in his drivers license details etc and pay the fine, which I did. I was also asked to pay the fine of 201 euros. I logged in using the username and password provided and filled out all the credit card info. After which a page giving details of my payment, etc showed up. I thought I was done and trashed the letter containing the username and password, in a trashcan outside, so now there is no way to retrieve it! Now I don't think my payment went through and I don't have the username and password to re-login and no telephone number to contact them! I have 10 days left to pay the fine before it doubles. I've tried emailing them but haven't heard back. Any tips on what to do?
