L'Orangerie

Does anyone know when L'Orangerie will re-open?

I seem to recall January or February 2002.

Meanwhile, the best Monet/Impressionist "fix" available in Paris is at the Musee Marmottan Monet: <BR>http://www.marmottan.com/

or, you could try a quick jaunt up to Giverny.

If you can swing a quick trip to Kimbell Art Museum in Ft. Worth, Texas, you can see about 80 works ("From Renoir to Picasso") on loan from the Musee L'Orangerie. This is the only stop for the exhibit in the U.S. and ends in a week or so. It's not Paris, but the art is worth seeing!
