Looking for suggestions for villa rental for 6 people in Provence

We are three couples looking to rent a villa in Provence for October 2003. We want an area that is very central to Avignon, small villages and the Cote d'Azur. We would prefer something with three bedrooms and 3 baths. We do not want anything too expensive but rather charming and representative of the area. Any help you can give us would be greatly appreciated.

I can also recommend, from personal experience:

www.domani-usa.com
www.regencyintapts.com

Also rented from Rentvillas - - similarly good experience. Their initial deposit policy is a little more objectionable, but no other complaints.

Best wishes,

Rex

I got the name of

vrbo.com

from this board. It stands for vacation rental by owner. There are some remarkably good properties on offer and have the added advantage of being able to deal directly with the owner.

I read the first reply mentioning rentvillas.com and y mind immediately turned to Italy not France. domani-usa.com is only Italy.

I can recommend www.francevillas.com for France. I have only stayed ther (twice) in much larger properties than sleeps 6.

Sorry for my inattention.

Thanks everyone for your help. Can someone give us names of the villas you stayed in and why you like them. There is now a possibility that there will be 4 couples. Thanks again.
