Looking for Small Ship Cruise

We are looking for recommendations of a small ship or cruise line to cruise the Grrek Isles or the Adriatic.
Thanks, in advance.

Thank you. Variety Cruises seems like a great way to go.

You are very welcome! Never actually been on a Variety Cruise, hence the lack of comment on my previous post. Their ships range all over the Aegean Sea and elsewhere, stopping at ports too small for the big ships. I’ve seen them around the Greek Islands and would prefer them to the huge ships that disgorge thousands of passengers on islands like Santorini. Sometimes they are forced to change the itinerary when weather conditions dictate, so you have to be prepared for that possibility.

I am partial to Windstar: https://www.windstarcruises.com/
Small ships with casual dress code and great service...

Last year I did Greek island hopping on my own, I managed to book a Greek island pass with Hellenic Seaways. Have in mind you can find day-trip cruises on each island as well. Personally, I prefer island hopping on my own because it makes me feel free. I always found that the cruises are usually hectic and packed -I am talking about the ones that last for days. You don't have the chance to spend your time as you like. Last time on a cruise (plenty of years ago) I only got to see Santorini for 3-4 hours. Now, I regret that speed-light visit. I wish i will have the chance to make the trip on my own and do whatever I like without having to follow anyone else's program. In any Greek island if you walk around the port you'll see plenty of day-trip cruises being offered. They take you to the best hidden gems. I had the best time ever with such a day-trip in Milos island. Unforgettable experience. It is was with a sailing boat... We had lunch like cast-aways in a cave of a remote beach. They let us dive from the ship (awesome)... got back while watching the sunset. It was magical!!!
