So I am planning on flying out to Ireland, staying there for a short while, and then making my way to Amsterdam. I was going to go completely by myself but it occurred to me recently that it would be pretty cool to meet new people to share this experience with.
First of all I'm a lesbian, just so thats out there and no one is uncomfortable lol But I have no problem with guy friends joining me in my adventure to Amsterdam I plan on staying quite a while.. as long as possible really, and hell, maybe even staying, especially if I meet the right girl to make it worth staying for lol
Anyway, if there is anyone out there that is interested in doing something like this then please contact me and let me know. I'd appreciate it a lot.

I think you might have better luck finding travelling companions on the Lonely Planet Thorntree site, which has a much higher percentage of younger and more vigorous folks. http://www.lonelyplanet.com/thorntree/index.jspa Most of the folks on this Forum, by and large, are not into backpacking anymore.

You don't mention your nationality, but I might mention that visits to the Schengen states for non EU citizens is limited to 90 days, so you might have trouble staying on in the Netherlands.
