There is a church that used to be a prison, the Marmatine(sp)where St Pter was held, next to the Campidoglio end of the forum

There is a restaurant in Trastevere at 1 Via del Porto called 'Ciceruacchio'. This is housed in a 16th Century building that used to be a prison. I haven't been but it was recommended by a friend of my mums for when we visit Rome in November

Maybe that's it. I'll be in Rome this weekend and will check it out. I'll let you know what I find. Thanks.

Thanks, I'd love to hear whether it's worth going to as it sounds interesting.
