Looking for a Hotel in Paris.
 

We have a stop over in Paris in Aug and need to find a resonable priced hotel or maybe even hostel(if location is right) for 2 of us to stay in. I would like to stay near the Eiffel tower and as far as the Notra Dame.
Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.

Are you saying that you want to stay between the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame? How "reasonable" do you mean. How many Euros per night?

The Aloha hostel in Montparnasse is 25 Euros per person per night. It has a good rating.

Hotel St-Andre-des-Arts charges 89 Euro for a double with breakfast. It's 5 minutes from Notre Dame. The hotel looks a bit ratty when you walk in but I saw one of the rooms. It was clean and the ensuite bathroom was brand new.

We considered Hotel St-Andre-des-Arts but we decided on below for E. 80 per night for my 15 year old daughter and me:

It is in the 4th emme and not far from Notre Dame, right bank. I don't recall if Hotel St.Andre-de-Arts had air conditioning or not but I have stayed right near it a couple of times so wanted other bank this time.

We are looking to pay up to 75euros per night. Last time we stayed near the Eiffel Tower in the 7th district but now it seems the prices have gone up in 3 years.

Port Royal Hotel has a double w/o bath and toilet for 52.50 Euro; a double with bathroom for 78.50 Euro. It's at the southern end of the 5th but with easy metro access to the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame. It's a nice area; near rue Mouffetard with its market and shops, rue Daguerre market and not far from the Jardin des Plantes. There's lots of reasonably-priced restaurants in this area.

Would Port Royal Hotel be in the Latin Quarter? I couldnt tell by the map. Thank you for the recommendation.

The Hôtel de France, 102 Boul. de la Tour Maubourg in the 7ème, not far from the Tour Eiffel, may still have doubles for about 75 euro.
