Looking for a hotel in Brussels
My friend and I are going to be in Brussels the end of oct. for 1 night before we leave to go back to the US. We would like a hotel that is not expensive and that is centrally located.. We'd like to be able walk around Brussels. We aren't fancy but we want
a clean and decent hotel and we pay as much as $ 150.00 Has anyone heard of a hotel called The Dominican? natjgc |
Have a look at the Hotel Welcome. I like it very much.

I'm planning a trip to Brussels and have got this place bookmarked- other posters have recommended it:

I've seen the Sheraton in the $100-range, at weekends. I think it is a good hotel at that price range for a short stay. It is getting a bit dated, but you know what you will get and it won't pack any surprises - just what I would be looking for a single night.
A lot of it will depend upon when you are staying. If over a weekend, then the business hotels (and there are a lot) can be excellent bargains. |
Here are some photos of the Dominican http://en.tripter.com/hotels/Belgium...nican/21108/h/. It seems to have a pretty good rating but I think that the Hotel Le Dixseptieme http://en.tripter.com/hotels/Belgium...tieme/20507/h/ has more charm, is equally well located and is slightly cheaper. Hope it helps and say hello to Tintin for me.

Hotels in Brussels tend to offer major discounts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights.

Another vote for The Welcome.
