Looking for a Embassy Suites hotel near Disneyland, CA. Any ideas?

Can anyone recommend a hotel in the vicinity of Disneyland? Our budget is around $150 a night (is that a decent budget?), and we'd like to get a place with a kitchenette, if possible. If not, we'll get take a regular hotel room.

I haven't been to Disneyland in years, and I remember a strip of seedy motels. We'd like to avoid those.

Thanks.

Bit harsh xxx. No wonder you don't post your name. Too scared of the hatemail from nice people.

xxx often uses his real name, and at times, he has been a lot harsher than this. everybody knows who he is. and i think that he has stated publicly that he occasionally gets some vicious anonymous attacks here on this board, but has never once received one single piece of hate mail.

by the way, why didn't YOU answer meg's question for her? not a difficult item to find on the internet, you know...

Because I've only just seen her question.

Such a shame that there are so many dull bitter people pointlessly slagging well meaning people off on this forum, zzz and xxx.

well, now it's been 57 minutes - - so what's your excuse now? this takes about 57 seconds to find...

admit it, you have no reason to think she will be back here for the info... the same as xxx and zzz

xxx's original question is valid - - troll? or airhead?

I never expected her to be back here. I just thought the "troll/airhead" remark was pointlessly rude, when she'd clearly just made a mistake, which she apologised for. xxx,zzz and anon (same person, obviously) are we having a bad day?

Meg,
sorry for all the rude comments.
there have been times when people do post U.S questions here, because they elicit more responses, and *sometimes* people on this forum are usually more polite than US board.
But, I do think there is such a large amt of info , do a search(type in some key words)
in the TEXT SEARCH BOX at the top of the US page and you will probably pull up dozens of old posts.
Goodluck in your search and have fun!

if anyone thought there was a snowball's chance that this "meg" was real and coming back here to find this thread to get an answer to her question, why wouldn't you just answer her question?!

Nancy, i think you knew this would push me over the edge, didn't you?

Kate,
Thank you for being the voice of kindness. People like you far outnumber those who aren't.
Have a nice day, Ladies

Oh for heaven's sake! I made a little error, posting this thinking I was on the U.S. board instead of the Europe board. And for that, you want to rip me? Had you left it alone, it would have dropped off the board yesterday. Don't you guys have anyone else to pick on?

Meg, I think your response was natural.
No one likes to be ridiculed for a meaningless oversight. Unfortunately, Travel Talk has attracted members of the Sadists Dance Group, and they are hunting for partners, er ah victims. Pay it no heed.
Take the answer you got and use it.

Meg, I hope you don't think that Kate, Nancy, nor I were ridiculing you? Quite the opposite. So, if we have a count...1 jerk, 4 pleasant people.
Have a great time in Disneyland!

How does it feel to be called a "jerk"?
Probably as bad as it does being called
an "airhead".
Sorry, Meg.
