Looking for a cheap flight from Amsterdam to Berlin
Hi, I am looking for a one way flight for the above leg in March. All the websites I have seen have the flights at over 450 euros per person. Is there a way of getting a cheap flight?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

Try using the www.opodo.com website. If the RT fare is cheaper than one-way simply discard the return segment. Hope this helps.

Try www.airberlin.com - - their website is having technical difficulties right now - - so I cannot check actual fares and schedules. Moreover, they do not fly "all the way" from Amsterdam. But they do fly from all the (German) airports close to the Dutch border. Perhaps it will save you some time over taking the train, perhaps not.
Best wishes,
Rex

I've done a simulation on www.klm.com and found fares as low as 217 euro return.

eteo,
Unfortunately, no low-fare carrier flies the Amsterdam-Berlin route for now. However, there is a chance that EasyJet will start service on this route in the future. For the time being, you have 3 options:
1) buy the cheapest roundtrip fare on KLM and just throw out the return portion.
2) take a train to Düsseldorf airport (about 2.5 hours, change at Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof), then fly DBA to Berlin (prices appear to start at EUR 69 all in). They have extremely frequent service on this route (scroll down to show all the flights).
Alternatively, you could fly from Cologne/Bonn airport, which has low-fare service to Berlin on Germanwings, HLX and DBA.

The train to Cologne takes about 2hrs 3/4 and you need to take a shuttle bus from the station to the airport, so Düsseldorf is definitely more convenient.
3) You simply take the train all the way to Berlin - there are direct trains which takes just under 6 hours.

Another low-cost airline from Düsseldorf to Berlin is Germania Express (Gexx). It has only 2 flights a day, but all seats cost the same (EUR 77 all in), so could be cheaper than DBA.
