Looking for 4 or 5 star hotel in Lisbon with easy access to beach.

I just spent 10 great days in Barcelona. Truly was shocked at how easy it was to navigate, quality of food, attractions and people . Was thinking of another trip with same atmosphere and am looking at Lisbon.
Stayed at the Omm Hotel in Barcelona which has great location and customer service.
Does Lisbon have easy access to a beach? Are their live shows in the evening?

Lisbon is not in the Atlantic coast but in the right bank of Tagus river and therefore the access to the beach is limited. Some 15-20 miles to the west there is the beach town of Cascais and "hotel albatroz" might be what you are thinking about.

You'll find fado in many bars and some restaurants in the city, the ones I liked were in the Alfama district. Not sure what you mean about "shows"-like Vegas? None that I know of.

I think the beach destinations in Portugal are not in the Lisbon area. As mentioned above, Lisbon is on the banks of a river. Going west there is the Estorial and Cascais. We spend 5 nights in Cascais at the Grand Real Hotel Italia and LOVED it. It is not on a beach but has a lovely pool and the price was super reasonable for the quality of the hotel. There is a small beach in Cascais.

We liked staying in Cascais and exploring Lisbon and a bit more of Portugal from there. We did a day trip to Sintra. Lisbon is 30 minutes by frequent and cheap trains.
So it would be different than Barcelona but I'm really hoping to return again one of these days.

We were just in Lisbon for several days following a wine tour of Porto and the Douro Valley. Got a glimpse of Cascais on a day trip to Sintra. If we were ever to do this again, I would add a few Cascais days to the end, as an R&R from the tour and busy city days. It looked very inviting.
