Long layover in Frankfurt - ideas?

My fiancee and I have a long-ish (8 hour) layover in Frankfurt on our way from Seattle to Cape Town next month (for our honeymoon). Anyone have good ideas for how to kill a few (4-5) hours?

Thought about renting a car but we'll likely be pretty tired. We'd be leaving the airport around 10 AM and need to be back there by 3:30 PM or so.

Ideas? thanks! -george

There have been quite a few threads on this topic. I think Mainz is a nice place to visit with that kind of time and on the S-bahn from the airport. Do a search for Mainz and you will get more info

Another place to consider is Wiesbaden, also an easy S-Bahn trip from the airport. It has a nice central town. What might be especially nice after a long plane ride is spending some time at the baths. (These are clothing optional and co-ed, but this is not considered as unusual as it is in the US.)

Frankfurt downtown is also a good option for having some sightseeing and a good lunch. There is a commuter train every 15 minutes from the airport and it takes not more as 13 to 20 minutes to go.
I would go out at Hauptwache station and look around.
