Londres Hotel - Help

Please help Me.
I would like suggestions for a central hotel (value for money)- 4 or 5 stars.
We intend stay 4 nights in the end of May - me & my husband. We like to walk, and also stay near underground and bus (so we can easy visit a lot of places). Tks

The Londres has been mentioned on this Forum before.

I did have a stay there but it has been about three years.

It is very close to Harrods in a quiet neighborhood. The rooms are small but very well appointed. The staff was attentive but not obtrusive. The bathrooms have nice amenities.

The full breakfast is wonderful.

I do not know if it gives value for money as we chose it as part of a British Airways package.

I would stay there again. The tube stops seemed to be about four blocks away, if I remember correctly.

OP, please clarify. I took this to mean you want recommendations for a central hotel in London. Or do you, as the previous poster read it, want advice on the Hotel Londres in London ?

P.S. If the former, it may be better to re-post with a title something like 'Central London (not Londres) - recommendations for 4-5 star hotel'.
